This year I was hoping to make my Christmas party with the family one to remember. I was hoping to offer a little festive treat that will make my relatives young and old smile and I think the best way to do that makes some of these edible top 10 Santa hats…
Top 10 Best Recipes for Santa Hats
10 – Pretzels
Made from some of those Mini Twist Pretzels, some White Chocolate & Almond Bark, Red Sanding Sugar and tasty Mini Marshmallows these look strangely cool given that it is just a Pretzel underneath it. So maybe I should make some of these then! But I should wait and see what else I can find first.
9 – Cake pops
Trust Bakerella to come up with something that looks this good. There are several festive themed cake pops in the link so it might be worth checking them out. But you do need some serious baking and making skills that I simply don’t have.
8 – Sweet cones
If you thought these sweet cone Santa hats looked amazing, just wait and see you’ll see how they’re made! The words “Deceptively simple” definitely ring true as there’s a true genius behind these snack ideas.
7 – Cupcakes
I think it was pretty obvious that cupcakes had to feature somewhere in this list, but I have gone for some that are not too complicated to make. Using a toothpick as a skewer they are made from nothing more than whipped cream, strawberries, and mini marshmallows.
6 – Grinch
These are supposed to be the festive Grinch, but I think they just work rather nicely as some fruity Santa hat treats as well. Just be a little careful with the sticks in the little ones are going to help make them.
5 –Festive Mix
Anyone who has ever seen those bugle snack crisps will know exactly how these are made. Simply melt some red candy dips in a saucepan, then dip the bugles snacks into the mix creating an instant mini Santa hat! Then add some other snacks to make a sort of festive grab and go mix.
4 – Cheesecake
To be honest I’m a bit of a fan of cheesecake so when it comes to Santa hat themed ones they were always going to make my list! White Chocolate Cheesecake Bites will always get my vote no matter what time of year it is.
3 – Cookies
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best and that definitely goes for when you are making Santa hat cookie. Simply cut to shape and decorate, they are simple fun for the little ones to help make as well.
2 – Dessert Treats
These Santa Hat Brownies are sure to make any sweet tooth happy. Made with some vanilla mascarpone buttercream forward of white trim on the hat and obviously a strawberry for the top there is not too much to making these which makes them a quick, simple and a fun treat to eat.
1 – Candy Oreos
These amazing Oreo Santa hats are made from little more than some cream cheese, frozen whipped topping, Candy Cane Oreos and of course strawberries. But put those things together and you end up with a snack that I am definitely going to try and make.
