I have spent many holidays in Cornwall (located in the South West of England, UK) and every time I do stay there I try to stay in a different hotel so I get to experience the range of diversity each hotel offers. Based on my own personal opinion this is what I consider to be the top ten best hotels to stay in while visiting Cornwall…
Great Western Hotel, Cliff Rd, Newquay – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
While it is part of a chain of hotels the Great Western Hotel in Newquay is a touch of class and everything looks and feels premium. With clean rooms, fresh bedding and even sea views if you are lucky this hotel is worth every penny.
Legacy Hotel Victoria, East St, Newquay – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
While the rooms here can often feel a little dated they are always clean and off-season you can get some real bargains. With great good, friendly staff and of course some nice sea views this hotel never fails to feel inviting, like visiting an old grandma!
Tregarthen’s Hotel, Garrison Hill, Isles of Scilly – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
While the Isles of Scilly is a small place there is still a wide choice of hotels in which to stay in. But for my money, Tregarthen’s Hotel is the best of all of them. The rooms are clean, the views are amazing and while it doesn’t offer the facilities of a bigger hotel it offers twice as much friendly service. Staying here means you can unwind and relax with a happy welcoming environment.
The Greenbank Hotel, Harbourside, Falmouth – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
While there is no deny that this is a classy hotel, it still has a family-friendly vibe about it. With friendly staff, clean rooms and great room service this hotel is like a home away from home. Just be prepared to pay a premium price for it.
The Fowey Hotel, Esplanade, Fowey – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
To be honest from the outside The Fowey Hotel doesn’t look like much. But inside it offers a surprising amount of class and comfort. With large, clean beds, amazing views from most rooms and even a few modern conveniences this hotel is a hidden gem. Just don’t let the dated, cheap way it looks put you off staying here.
China Fleet Country Club, Plymouth – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
The China Fleet Country Club sticks out like a sore thumb in Plymouth. With its modern looks, modern rooms with all the mod-cons and even a load of health and beautiful things for you to enjoy. And of course, there is also golf for those who like to play it. If you need something a lot more modern than most the hotels in Cornwall this is where I would suggest you stay.
Jurys Inn, Exeter St, Plymouth – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
While this is one of the cheapest hotels in the area it still doesn’t compromise on quality and customer service. With clean, modern rooms it always feels more than adequate. While it doesn’t have the class that many others in the same area do, it is still a 4-star hotel with most modern cons.
Atlantic Hotel, Dane Rd, Newquay – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
If you want tonnes of class with a fresh modern style this is the hotel for you. With its own swimming pool, amazing location and stunning views this hotel has it all and sadly the price you pay for each room reflects that. This hotel is for those who want style and high-quality service over anything else.
Saunton Sands Hotel, Saunton Rd, Braunton – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
If you like your hotel rooms to be classy, modern and spacious this is the hotel you are looking for. It has its own pools, sauna and even tennis courts to name just a few of the impressive list of amenities this hotel offers. Sadly I do feel this hotel is a little overpriced given the other hotels in the same area, but you do get a pretty nice sized room for that. Often it is the quality of the on-site facilities that let this hotel down. By ignore those and ignoring the price means you will have a great nights sleep!
Moorland Garden Hotel, Yeoland Down, Yelverton – Book Now: >> CLICK HERE <<
For my last one, I have gone for something a little more romantic than any of the others on this list. This hotel is the perfect honeymoon, couples weekend away hotel. It has class, style and yet still feels classic and romantic at the same time. While a lot does depend on how the weather is, even on the rainiest of days you will be more than happy to simply stay in your room all day as they feel surprisingly spacious for the price you are paying.
