Last year in my Valentines post “Top 10 Cats With fur Hearts” we got to see ten cats with a special heart-shaped fur markings, but this year it is the turn of the dogs. I am sure many of you might disagree with me, but I think a dog can show a lot more love and affection than a cat. And these Valentine’s day markings prove that…
10 – Love for Your Bothers
I am not 100% convinced this is a perfect heart shape. I think the other puppies head covers up just enough fur to make it look like he does.
9 – Will Love For Home
This is Daisy the boxer-cross, and at the time the news story was printed she had not found a home. But with such unique fur markings and a cute face, I am sure she is found a loving owner by now.
8 – Upside Down Love
This Bulldog might have an upside down heart shaped fur marking, but I would imagine his own heart is the right way up and very loving towards his owners.
7 – 101 Hearts
For my money, this heart looks a little too perfect. But I would like to imagine that it is real and I would imagine it could well happen. But I am calling photoshopped.

6 – Super Heart
If you have a heart-shaped fur marking stand up and be proud much like this happy pooch is. To be fair it could have been in a better and more appropriate place on his body.
5 – Backside Heart
I am sure this dog’s heart is where most people think Valentine’s day should be, but rude people aside it is in a rather unfortunate place that is for certain.
4 – Love on The Mind
This dog looks confused, and is probably wondering why people keep taking images of the top of his head! Or maybe he is just thinking of his loved one.
3 – Norville “Shaggy” Rogers
Until just now I never knew Shaggy’s real name was Norville Rogers, but even that pails in comparison to knowing there were real Scooby-alike dogs out there with heart-shaped fur markings on their legs.

2 – Little Love
This poor little pooch looks rather down. Maybe it is because he has no-one to share his love with this Valentine’s day. Or maybe the cat gets more love than him!
1 – Digby
This dog is as big as a house!!! Well maybe it is just the angle of the photo, but either way, he has a big heart and looking at his cute little face shows a lot of love to his owner as well.
