Ten of the Very Best Hotels in Derbyshire, England

With most of Derbyshire being located in the Peak District National Park, it goes without saying there are some stunning hotels to stay in here. But a good view from your hotel window is only part of the story so it is a good job I have stayed in so many different hotels in this county to make a judgment of what I think are ten of the very best of them and they are all based on my own personal experience and nothing more…

With all the modern cons like Free Wi-Fi, Free Parking, an indoor swimming pool and most rooms even have Air conditioning there is also 2 golf courses to enjoy and a massive 300 acres of landscaped grounds to explore! Sure, the price is higher than most my golf ball chips, but you really do get what you pay for here.

The key thing to remember with this hotel is the amount you are paying for the room. While it is little more than a pub inn with tasty pub-grub to enjoy some rooms to overlook the market square which is nice, but sadly at nights, it can be a little loud. But like I said, for the price you pay this is well worth a nights stay.

Located less than 10 miles away from the park itself it is a 17th-century stone guesthouse with a modern annexe housing most the rooms. While it does have a luxury look about it from the outside, inside it is warm and inviting for the whole family and it is still family-run giving the hotel a much more personal feel than many other hotels in the same area.
