When this happens make sure you can walk away from that machine and onto another one. Overfeeding the machine with credits means you are stuck with it until they are gone. Sure, it’s tempting to up your bet amount to win a large sum if the big one rolls in, but if you keep the bets per spin low you can play for a much longer amount of time. Look Out For Pre-Jackpot Wins
Some slots have minor or major jackpots that have to pay out before the get to a certain amount put into the machines. These machines will often have set odds on payouts on little stickers placed on the machine, so do keep an eye out for them as they are worth keeping an eye out for on your own machine and other peoples playing around you. If they walk away after a minor jackpot payout it could be worth jumping onto it.
Casino Slots Are Best Played in The Morning
You might think that this doesn’t relate to online play, but it really does! Overnight most the players who are going to lose big because they have drunken too much or were half asleep when playing will add up and that means playing in the morning can give you a much better chance of winning. Sure, this works best on real-world casino slots, but with online slots, you will often notice the progressive jackpots are a lot higher in the mornings than in the evenings.
Don’t Stick to One Machine
This is something that most people do all the time, but if you want to spread the odds of getting a bigger win in your favour you need to play a few slot games, not just one. This is what most people would consider a pro-tip. If you are experiencing a long period of no wins or little wins with no features you really should up your bet size as the changes of a feature or bigger win coming in are greater. Anything more than 20 spins should be considered a losing streak and by using this method you can often counteract any losses you have occurred.
Only Play Progressive Jackpot Slots
The problem with machines that you can change the bet size on is they will often lower the jackpot amount should you win it. But this can’t happen with progressive jackpot machines. So even on the smallest of wins, you could walk away with that mega jackpot even if the odds are smaller.
