  1. Aw, this was an incredibly good post. We often have turkey in my house so it is good to know what to do with the leftovers.

  2. Thank you Kate, it is nice to know there was some variety in it, the problem with Turkey is all the images seemed to look the same! Turkey curry was the worst for this, millions of people have made it.

  3. I always make turkey soup with the carcass. i add carrots, celery, onion and sage. I throw in some ziti and the cut up leftover turkey meat. Can’t go wrong with soup, especially this time of year.

  4. Hello Russell and everyone else too! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

It’s been a few days since I have had a chance to read and comment on your Top 10 postings. We were without electricity for a number of days following the enormous ice storm we had here.

So… Turkey left overs eh? One of my favourites is to cut up left over turkey into small chunks and then toast some bread, putting butter on one slice and mayonnaise on the other, laying the turkey chunks on the toast to make a sandwich out of it, and then “Bon Appetite!”

I seriously ate 6 of them following the day we had the original meal. I love ’em!

I hope you and yours had a great holiday Russell and wish you all the best in the New Year!

  5. I love making something with leftovers. We didn’t have a turkey this year, but a pheasant, and still managed to use the leftovers as pheasant wellingtons, pheasant frittata and my favourite, pheasant quesadillas…can’t go wrong with a quesadilla. Thanks for more ideas for next year. 🙂
