During the World wars and the cold war several bunkers, and locations were made to house secrets and store food and arms, often called “Doomsday holes.” But now that we are all mostly living in peace these places have been turned into museums and tourist locations. But it does mean that road and information signs to these places to have a habit of giving the game away…

Located just near Dover Castle, UK is these secret wartime tunnels. For a little fun fact here it is thought that only about 10 people ever knew they existed until 1982 when there were opened to the public!

6 – Invade this way!
During WWII the German army would have loved to know where Scotlands secret bunker was. Little did they know that is just 30 years after the war there would be a road sign point to it!
5 – Not so magic at all.
If ever there was someone that should understand mystery, magic, and indeed keep a secret it is definitely going to be Seigfried and Roy. But it seems that when it comes to their garden they are happy to tell the world!

When a fisherman finds a good spot for fishing it often becomes his own personal secret. But this sign seen at a fishing club is not going to be keeping anyone’s secret.

This is the Kelvedon Hatch secret nuclear bunker, and its signs really do give the game away. But as with most these places seen here, they really are worth seeing to see our sometimes less than quiet history.
