FACT: 1. According to worldwide studies, 90% of people aged 20 – 65 have had at least one kiss. That doesn’t mean it was a loved one, that does include a kiss on the lips by a parent.

FACT: Kissing can increase your life expectancy by up to 5 years! Plus as an added bonus it will increase elasticity in the face making you look even younger.
8 – “Try not to make your mouth so dry this time.”
FACT: Have you ever texted someone “XOXO” Well the X in XOXO means kisses and the O has come to mean hugs, but this is not a modern thing as it comes from the Middle Ages! Back then people would often sign their names with an X, as much of the population was illiterate. Afterwards, they would kiss the document with paint on their lips, so often voting documents where couples had voted read “XOXO”
7 – “You are a much better kisser than my mirror!”
FACT: The world record for longest kiss is held by Americans Rich Langley and Louisa Almedovar who for charity had a kissing session that lasted 30 hours and 59 minutes! They were allowed 5 mins every hour for a drink and something to eat.

FACT: Kissing the Blarney Stone located in Cork, Ireland is considered good luck, but legend has it that if you are untrue to your loved one you will die trying! But there is some truth to is as it is no easy feat, someone holds your feet, then you lean backwards, hold on to the handrails, and lower yourself until you can reach the stone and kiss it!

FACT: Kissing for one-minute burns 26 calories, but passionately kissing someone for the same amount of time can burn an incredible 74 calories!
4 –”Does this kiss make us cherry chums?!?
FACT: Kissing uses only one muscle, called the orbicularis oris that is responsible for puckering your lips when you go in for the kiss. The science of this act of kissing itself is called philematology.

FACT: Be careful where you kiss because in 16 countries around the world it is still illegal to kiss in public, and even some parts of the United States have laws against it!

FACT: In Indiana, it is still against the law for any man who has a moustache, to “habitually kiss another human being.” but according to the letter of the law if they shave it off they are fine.

FACT: In 16th century Naples is was strictly forbidden in old-school Italy to kiss people in public! Things were a bit harsh back then as the punishment for kissing was the death penalty!
