The other day I was using this new bathroom design app and messing around with it. What I came up with was nothing short of crazy, especially given how small my bathroom is anyway. So I started to wonder how other people have themed their bathrooms and what I found is there are some crazy bathroom designs out there, some of which might well give someone inspiration. So what I bring you is ten of the most unusual and amazing bathroom designs you will ever see that you might want to take inspiration from…
Circle Bathroom
I feel someone missed something here because just about everything is circles, from the wall tiles, the toilet, the bathtub, the sink, heck, even the bathroom mirror is round! But for some strange reason, they kept the normal shaped window!
Jungle Bathroom
Why not bring a touch of the outside to the bathroom. I think it would have been best to bring in a load of flowers so that when someone goes for a number 2 it will counteract any smells they might make.
Nautical Bathroom
When I was messing about with the bathroom design app this is one of the designs that I came up with. Give your bathroom a nautical look makes choosing colours easy as well as finding bathroom furniture to match it.
Wooden Bathroom
While this might be a tad too much wood for anyone’s tastes I do love the oak bathtub as well as the sink area. But the modern-looking toilet just looks out of place. Besides, where would you hang the toilet roll?!?
Black Bathroom
You might have thought that a black bathroom would look dank and dirty, but I think this one looks stylish with the silver trims and faucets giving it a touch of class as well. The little flower vase on the sink gives it a dash of colour and really breaks up the darkness.
Mermaid Bathroom
With the beautiful mermaid mirror and shower curtain, it really didn’t take much to turn this bathroom into an ‘under the sea’ style adventure. If you have a small bathroom or ensuite in a girls bedroom this would be perfect!
Aquarium Bathroom
There are many ways to bring some sea life into the bathroom and this idea might well cost more money than it is worth, especially as you will need bespoke fish takes and possible floor supports to hold it all up. But then again it would make bathtime much more relaxing.
Library Bathroom
If you have a love of books and you enjoy reading something while on the toilet you might want to bring some of those books into the bathroom so they are there if you need them. While on paper I like the look of this in practice the steam from a bath would ruin a lot of those books.
LED Bathroom
Don’t be afraid to bring some coloured LED lighting into the bathroom. There are plenty of waterproof and steam protected lighting strips out there that often come with colour choosing options. You could even theme your entire bathroom around one choice of coloured light!
Open Plan Bathroom
Bathrooms don’t have to be this closed, small space, they can also be open planned, bright and spacious. This would probably be better if you don’t have neighbours, but you could always do something similar provided you have a closed-off area so no one can look in.
