This 16th-century hotel has a rustic, but also classy feel to it. There is also a grill restaurant that has rave reviews, but it wasn’t for me because of its central location to all the other amazing restaurants on Rye’s High Street.

With its contemporary rooms and extensive meeting space, this hotel has a distinctively business use feel, but it also has a chic spa, pool and free parking which makes it perfect for those going on the Eurostar train due to its station being just 1.7 miles away.

These wonderful contemporary hotel cottages (with fully fitted kitchens) are all located within the grounds of a Jacobean mansion with some beautiful woodland views. If you plan to visit Canterbury Cathedral or Dover Castle this could be the perfect place to stay.

It might have an odd name, but this lavish boutique hotel is surprisingly luxurious and offers champagne with its fine dining, plus the use of a patio. It was once a 16th-century pub but is now something much more and well worth a stay.

It might be called the Pig, but this is no pig in mud that is for sure. It is a rustic-chic looking hotel that offers some really polished accommodation. then on top of all that, there is also some sophisticated dining & spa treatments to enjoy. A nights stay here and you really will be as happy as a pig in mud!
