They are all around us, yet most them will go unnoticed and indeed unseen. But safety signs are there for a reason to help us avoid something that is probably dangerous in some way, shape or form. But that doesn’t mean that have to be boring…
10 – Batman: Slippery When Wet
It doesn’t matter what way you see this it is clever either way. With a slipping, blank character being transformed into Batman climbing a wall it looks amazing and really good use of the original character.
9 – Chuck Em!
It might seem silly to me living in the UK, but I would imagine that parts of the world where lions and tigers live in the wild these signs are much-needed. But I love the silly cartoon edit.
8 – Cow Drop
Here in the UK, we have hundreds of these “Warning” wild grazing cows up ahead signs. And it takes Banksy to see it as something else and turn it into a Parachute cow.
7 – Societies shackles
I am sure there is a strong political message behind this, using the No Entry as shackles keeping the everyday man down and in chains where he belongs. Or maybe it was just done for a laugh!

6 – Stop ‘N’ Go
If you were driving in the night and you came across this you might well see it as the word go! So while funny it might be a little dangerous.
5 – Don’t honk in anger
I don’t know why people insist on honking their horn in traffic anyway, it is not like it is going to move any quicker. But I think this sign edit might know the reason.
4 – Human Hamster
It seems this street artist always wanted to run inside a giant hamster wheel! If only they had drawn a man on the roundabout its self as well.
3 – Believe in Safety
With the message being to not stop believing (In what I am not sure) but keep the belief that one-day street signs will give you something to smile about, not just a warning every day.

2 – Stop That Plant
It goes to show you don’t have to change the sign so much as the thing it is attached too. Dare I say this looks just like the Super Mario Bros Piranha Plants.
1 – Pick Panther
Trust the Pink Panther to walk off with a No Entry sign and leave us all in danger. For me, this was the very best I have seen. It looks great, suits the sign perfectly and the character in it. Pure genius in street art form.
