Congratulations! You have survived the hassle that is Christmas and now you can take it easy here on Boxing Day. But wait! Why not do something to burn off all that food you have eaten. You could do whatever you like, but here are ten ideas to get you started, all done in a Caturday style…
10 – Read A Book
You could always read that book you have always wanted to, or even listen to a whole Audiobook in one sitting!
9 – Social Media Cleanup
Why not spend the day cleaning up your social media profiles. Add a new profile image and banner, then remove all those friends off your list who never sent you a Christmas card.
8 – Down Time
Of course, you don’t have to do anything on Boxing Day so “vegging out” is always a good option.
7 – Visit Relatives
Boxing Day is the perfect time to visit relatives and show off all your new Christmas gifts.
6 – Go For a Walk
Lots of families go for Boxing days walks together. It’s great exercise and a good time to reflect on the year gone by.
5 – Bet
There is always horse racing on boxing day, some of them are very well respected race meets!
4 – Deal With Leftover Turkey
If you don’t know the Best Things to Make With Leftover Turkey you can always read my post with ten suggestions!
3 – TV Time
Boxing day is full of festive episodes of all your favourite TV shows. From Dr Who to Game of Thrones. Why not watch the season leading up to that point, then watch the Christmas special!
2 – Watch Sports
There is often lots of sports matches including Football on the TV, why not actually go to the match rather than watch it at home!
1 – Go Shopping
Did you receive some cash in a Christmas card by that person who doesn’t do “Effort”? Why not spend it in the boxing day sales. Hit that high street and start walking off those Turkey blues!
