This is Smokey the cat, and he is a real Guinness World Record holder. But it has nothing to do with surfing, this cat has the loudest purr ever recorded! I wonder if that helps the cat surf?!?

7 – Gremmie
Seeing these cats on their board makes me think maybe I can do it as well, I might not have four legs and a tail to help me balance, but I do love skateboarding, so maybe I should try it.

6 – The Goofy Footer
OK, so this kitty might be hunting more than surfing, but if I was in a pond, and somehow managed to sit or stand on a surfboard while it was travailing I would say I surfed, so I will let this stationary kitty off.

Apparently, you can go to any local beach in Australia and see someone’s cat surfing. I don’t really think that is true, but it’s a fun myth.

While most surfers will claim to have been born to surf many of them learned on the beach much like this kitty. Besides, have you never heard of land surfing?

By night Hassaku is a normal house cat that hunts mice and sings badly. But in the day this normally mild-mannered cat is a super brave surfer that even seems to teach dogs how to do it as well!

This cat is surfing on the Ronix Koal wakeboard with ease. Well, the cat is more laying on it, but we all have to start somewhere!

1 – Hanging Ten
This cute little kitty is called Nicolasa and he thinks he is a pro surfer like his owner Domingo Pianezzi. It turns out that Domingo never taught the cat to do this, or indeed forced it onto the surfboard, it just seems that Nicolasa was born to surf.
