A few miles away from where I live is a farm-park. There is nothing out of the ordinary about it, it is just a few animals in a farm turned petting zoo. But this blog post is not about the farm, it is about the way they advertise! You see, instead of leaflets, radio time and adverts they just drive around the local housing estates and villages in a rather large pig shaped car! I thought it was amazing and one of a kind but it seems there are hundreds of animal-shaped vehicles, so I thought I would bring you the very best of them…
10 – Pig
This is the pig car that I get to see almost every day! While a little basic it never fails to make me smile even if the driver always seems to look a little grumpy.
9 – Shark
This old works van turned into a shark is very cool and was done as a part of a scrapyard build hobby. It would have been my number 1 if it could dive into the water! But sadly it can’t.
8 – Lizard
Seen at a desert race in Arizona this Lizard/chameleon car is odd but also rather cool! I wonder if the car is cold-fueled?!? Or maybe it just runs on a few live crickets!
7 – Warthog
This highly modified VW bug was hogged by an Arkansas Razorbacks fan to look like the school mascot and dare I say it looks great! Some fans are willing to do anything it seems.

6 – Toucan
This large toucan beaked motorised rickshaw is just in the design phase of its life but I would love to see it made, and the classic look of it comes as a nice bonus as well.
5 – Hippo
This is the rather cute hippo is the promotional vehicle for the Japanese confectionery company Kabaya Foods. Best of all is that these 2 are a member of 15 other models or hippo car that first entering service in 1950!
4 – Dog
This is one of the most famous animal-themed vehicles and one that most of you will recognise. It is of course the “Mutt Cutts” van from the film Dumb and Dumber and if you have never seen it, do check out the film because it is very funny indeed.
3 – Turtle
The reasons behind this car have been lost in the maze they call the internet, but I can tell you that it is a custom-built 2004 Volkswagen Beetle, and I think it is rather amazing.

2 – Cat
Are you a big Caturday fan? Then this is the vehicle for you! This cat car made to promote Meow Mix cat food would drive me crazy, because every-time I saw it, that silly jingle would come into my head! You know the one…(all together now!)
Meow meow meow meow
Meow meow meow meow
Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow…
1 – Lobster
If a rather large lobster passing you at 50mph doesn’t get a double look you need to stop drinking! Because this one made to promote the Boston Lobster Feast in Orlando, Florida is one very scary looking car and I would not like to see it in my rearview mirror!
