This landlocked county located in the English Midlands has a population of just over 1 million and some of the best hotels in the UK. With so much sporting heritage this is a county that gets a lot of visitors and sometimes it can be almost as many visitors as there are people who live within its boundaries! That, of course, means there are a lot of hotels to choose from and while I haven’t stayed in all of them I have stayed in more than enough to justify making this list of what I personally think are ten of the very best hotels in Leicestershire…

While some people find this Inn a little over-priced I think it is just about worth its money. With a nice, friendly pub setting and large, comfortable rooms this is one of those Inns you could live in for the rest of your life.
