It is that time of the year when my dog is starting to smell a bit. This is mostly due to having his winter-coat and rolling in mud, but he normally keeps himself clean. But most dogs need a bath now and again and today it is Alfies turn. But while I scuffle with him I thought I would show you some of the funniest images of other dogs doing the same thing…

10 – Some quiet time
This image of a small dog bathing in a sink clearly shows that not all dogs hate baths. But that’s fine if you have a little dog, have to tell us when you have a dog that is a bit bigger it can put up more of a struggle when you try and bath them.

9 – Eat and wash
Provided that there’s no shampoo in the water for you put the treats in this is actually a really good idea! Just run some lukewarm water, pop in some doggie treats, and your loveable pooch should jump right in! Well, that is the theory anyway.

8 – Underwater Looker
While any image of a dog wearing goggles its funny I do have one question: if you are having a bad day sing is it called a sith? Because once you take away the bath then surely you are not bathing. So maybe you are sinking! But that doesn’t make sense either.

7 – Bubble Dog
I suppose for a smaller dog a bath can be a rather scary event even in the shallowest of waters. But even small dogs need a bath now and again and washing them in the sink like this dog owner has done can lead to some very funny images indeed.

6 – The Mohawk
My own mother used to do this to me all the time, in fact, it was a regular part of my own bath time fun. But for whatever reason maybe it’s the long fur, when you do spike up a dog’s fur it looks simply hysterical. Fair play to this image, it really did make me laugh out loud and given the amount of funny and silly things I get to see while making these posts that is a mighty feat indeed.

If you are looking for an image that sums up how most dogs feel about having a bath then this is it. The face of a thousand angry dogs look like this every single day somewhere in the world. To most of the bath time is definitely not a fun time.

4 –Washer Woofer
Do people even use hair curlers anymore? Hair products put aside I think it is the look on dogs face that says it all. I think “not amused” doesn’t even come close to how this dog feels when this picture was taken.

Looking into the background I can’t really work out what this dog is bathing in! It seems to be some sort of makeshift bath which is probably best to give him the mess that most dogs make while they do bath.

2 – Soak and Relax
If I had to guess this photo of a dog enjoying a bath was taken in the summertime and that might explain why the dog is enjoying it so much. Or maybe I’m wrong, and this dog really does enjoy having baths.

1 – Keeping the hair dry
I can’t really work out which is funnier. Is the dog with the frog shower cap on? Oh, maybe it is strawberry shower tap dog that is clearly too big and is covering his eyes! Well, I just don’t think it matters it is such a great image bat attempts to show dogs having fun in the bath, but the look on their faces says it all.
