2 – Samaria Gorge
While I have mentioned the island of Crete already on this list the Samaria Gorge is worthy of being a sperate site to visit. This 4 meters wide gorge isn’t the biggest in the world, but its well worth find the seven hours needed to walk it.
1 – Melissani
I just had to end this post with Melissani. Its a cave with a beautiful lake inside of it! With a large gap in the side of the cave to let the sunshine to gleam upon the water its a magical place to visit and you can do so in a relaxing boating experience that is well worth paying for.
There are many wonderful places to experience in Greece, and one could never get through them all during their first visit.
