There is an architectural phenomenon growing in Bolivia that is well worth seeing. These luxury mansions are called, “cholets” and in a city of poorer buildings of brick and concrete, they are a welcome sight for sore eyes…
10 – three’s a gang
The one in the middle hear is actually a copycat building trying to blend in! Talk about odd one out.
9 – Architecture, or just art?
Imagine the entire city looking like this! These buildings might be for the super rich, but they also bring in tourists that spend money with local people and shops.
8 – Mellow Yellow
In a world of flat-faced, red or grey buildings, this style is very welcomed. Let’s hope other countries take up this style.
7 – Blue Skies
These buildings are bold, brash and colourful. Just like their owners, I would imagine.

6 – Supreme Green
It is, of course, all the coloured, shiny windows that make these buildings look so amazing.
5 – Optimus is that you?
There is a definite Transformer influence here. Check out the door on the left side of the building.
4 – Colourful Living
While some people might see them as over the top, I think every city would be better off with them.
3 – Not Mean In Green
No matter how colourful the buildings are next to them these amazing designs still stand out.

2 – Tetris Style
It’s the amazing shapes of glass that really make these buildings stand out.
1 – Fun Fair Effect
Against the unpainted brick house, these amazing buildings are a joy to look at. Sure they are only for the super rich, but that doesn’t mean us poor people can’t enjoy looking at them.
