10. Gothenburg Concert Hall, Sweden
The concert hall is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was built in 1935. With its yellow bricks and Swedish marble, the Concert Hall is a nice monument of art, design and culture. The hall has a Neo-Classical exterior, however, the interior is more modernistic. The hall has 1300 seats. Home of the New York Philharmonic, the concert hall is a part of the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts complex. The hall has about 2700 seats. The hall opened in 1962. It was later named after Avery Fisher, a member of the Philharmonic board of Directors, for his donation to the orchestra in 1973. It was a great gift to the people of Los Angeles. The hall was designed by Frank Gehry and opened in 2003 only. It is home to Los Angeles Philharmonic. The seating capacity of the hall is 2265. The concert hall has fine acoustics.

Number one ranked venue is the Metropolitan Opera House, located at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The Met was established in 1883. It is the largest classical music organization in North America, with a seating capacity of about 4000. More than 2 dozen of operas are played here each season. Several leading roles have been sung here by Placido Domingo and Enrico Caruso.
