You don’t need me to tell you that tanks are the colours they are because khaki greens and greys can’t be seen easily from the air. But some tanks don’t get this and stick out like a sore thumb. Trust me, you are not going to need any special training to spot these battle tanks of war…
10 – Black
While it doesn’t make for good camouflage painting an armoured tank black does seem to make it look even more menacing.
9 – Yellow
Put a yellow army tank in the desert and it blends in perfectly with its background. However, place it in a mud race like this and suddenly that camouflage doesn’t work so well.
8 – Red
This brightly colour tank is participating in a tank biathlon. Place your bets now because it looks like read tank is gonna win!
7 – Orange and Blue Spotted
Made as a tourist attraction these tanks represent the war equipment used throughout Kiev’s turbulent history.

6 – Green
I can only guess that someone is going to get fired after this because that is clearly the wrong colour green! Talk about an easy target.
5 – Blue
Made for the Super Furry animals tour is this blue tank that would look great if it could go underwater. But on the ground its just a selfish opportunity.
4 – Multi-Coloured
If you need to use a tank as a deterrent it doesn’t need to be in camouflage colours. This is nothing more than a photoshopped image, but it looks pretty!
3 – White
A white tank in the middle of the urban environment is camouflage suicide! But this isn’t war, it is a wedding, and this is a dedicated wedding tank!

2 – Pink
No other colour makes a tankless scary than pink. But even a pink tank in the wrong hands can be deadly. This one was painted by artist David Černý. It’s not just tanks that look good in pink either, take a look at these ten crazy Daleks!
1 – Orange
Want to go to war in a Captains Fizzy orange soda factory? Then this is the tank for you. Also, it does help get traffic out the way quicker.
