While working for a removal firm I once had to help move an entire office block. There was hundreds of desks, chairs, and various computer equipment. But the one thing I learned to hate that day is the filing cabinet. The problem was they were super heavy and sharp at the edges, I hated them. 10 – Rustic Outhouse
If anyone knows what on earth you would want a filing cabinet themed to look like a rustic outhouse toilet then do keep it to yourselves because I really don’t want to know.
9 – Makeover
Going on the image-driven post in the link it seems there is a lot of work involved in giving a filing cabinet a makeover. But the end results speak for themselves, it looks amazing and doesn’t require anything too complicated, just as I say: lots of hard work.
8 – Blueprint Inspiration
While I am impressed that this file cabinet revamps only cost $5 I am still not 100% sure that I like it. Sure it looks nice, but there is just something I am not too keen on. Maybe it is that it looks like it could have been turned into a Tardis, but that thought was stopped short. But I am sure many of you will disagree with me and love it.

When the filing cabinet was invented by American inventor Henry Brown in 1886, and as you would imagine back then they were made from wood! And boy does it look amazing, much better than the metal of the ones today.

This scale model mini-filing-cabinet is, in fact, a 400 file business card holder for the office desk. Every time you get a business card from someone you can file them away using their included alphabetical index dividers, and then promptly forget about them forever!
4 – Music Player
If this filing cabinet shaped like an accordion doesn’t amaze you not a lot will. Made by Straight Line Designs these one-of-a-kind pieces of wacky cartoon-style furniture are simply amazing, and it’s well worth visiting the link and seeing the rest of them.
3 – Stack’em and pack’em
Located in Burlington, Vermont is the official Guinness record tallest filing cabinet in the world. Made if of 38 cabinets, 60 individual drawers and stacked by weight from heaviest to lightest this art install by local artist Bren Alvarez is a sight to see that is for sure. Just don’t ask me to get anything from the top draw.
