Ten Replicas of Stonehenge That Are Just as Mysterious as the Original

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England that attracts millions of people to the UK just to see it, each and every year. I am telling you about this place because I am slightly ashamed to admit that despite once living just 2 miles away from it, I have never been to see it or touched it in my entire life! Sadly I now live hundreds of miles away from it, but maybe I don’t need to go and see it as I can just visit one of these places instead…

10 – Bouncy, Oh such a good time, Bouncy Bouncy, Shoes all in a line!

Maybe I could just visit this very large inflatable version of stone hedge that is touring around the UK anyway, that way I wouldn’t have to go anywhere, just wait for it to come to Cardiff, Wales! And for those with a good memory it did indeed feature in my post “Top 10 Unusual Inflatable Things” But it was a terrible post, so you might not remember it.

This is not someplace amazing in America but, in fact, someplace amazing in the Midlands! This Hayhenge was located just north of Birmingham and amused motorway travellers for ages. Sadly this is no longer standing, but it is well worth seeing the other ones the farmer makes by clicking on the image.

3 – The lightweight version

The problem with Stonehenge is that it is made of stone and means that if you want to build a replica it could take a lot of manpower! But over in Rotterdam, Netherlands is this version that they made with Bamboo! It does look kind of cool as well.
