We all know that casinos can bring an awful lot of money to their owners, but did you know that some of them cost a fortune to build? Well, you do now and here are the ten most expensive casino buildings every built so far…
10 – Wynn, Macau ($1.2 Billion)
The first thing you will notice is that all of these casinos are in their billions. But to be fair they are all hotels as well as casinos.
9 – Bellagio, Las Vegas ($1.6 Billion)
Opened in 1998 it has a massive 166,000 sq. ft. of space and just under 4,000 rooms!
8 – The Venetian, Las Vegas ($1.7 Billion)
While smaller in size than our previous entry at just 120,000 sq. ft. it does feature even more rooms. Size isn’t everything so they say, it’s all about the location.
7 – City of Dreams, Macau ($2.1 Billion)
This building might have just under 1,400 rooms (far less than the others) but it does have 420,000 sq. ft. of room.

6 – Encore, Las Vegas ($2.3 Billion)
This casino has less space and fewer rooms than many of the others, but like I said it is all about the location.
5 – The Palazzo, Macau ($2.4 Billion)
Some say it is more of a work of art than a building and at that price, it certainly costs more than a work of art.
4 – Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas ($3.9 Billion)
We take a big leap up in budget here, but to be fair it is also a hotel and retail space for shops.
3 – Marina Bay Sands, Singapore ($5.5 Billion)
Sure the budget has skyrocketed for this building, but it is nothing short of architecture porn of the highest standard.

2 – Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore ($5.7 Billion)
To be honest this casino is more about the cost of land in Singapore rather than anything else. But it is still a stunning building.
1 – Citycenter Las Vegas, Las Vegas ($8.5 Billion)
Sure it is a ridiculous amount, but with 5,900 hotel rooms and just under 2,500 people actually living in it, they needed the building to be grand. And to be fair it does look amazing as well.
