Well, it is finally boxing day. To me, this is the very last day of Christmas. The day all those empty boxes of toy packaging get thrown out and the wrapping paper bagged and binned. So I thought I would bring you 10 boxes that you can actually eat! Not a spec of cardboard in sight as I bring you…
10 – Chocolate and Strawberries
Trust the website Instructables to come up with something so amazing, but yet make it look simple enough so everyone can try. This would also make a nice gift to give someone any time of the year, not just Christmas.
9 – Gingerbread
It kind of makes sense that if you can build a house from Gingerbread, a box is going to be even easier! There are also other ideas to make with gingerbread as well. But it looks like a tasty box indeed.
8 – Cookies
Ignoring the finer details of this cookie box most of us should be able to make one thanks to the step-by-step making guide. It would make for a great handmade gift idea as well.
7 – After Eight Mints
With a simple to make recipe most of us could make these After Eight Mint boxes. Then plonk some ice-cream in the middle to make them look like a rather expensive dessert! No making guide or recipe to go with this, but is shouldn’t be too hard to work out how to make them.

6 – Bread
The idea behind this is to have a picnic by the river and take virtually nothing back home with you! A good idea I suppose provided you love the crusts of the bread. Surely it would be easier to make sandwiches, place them into the bread box then feed the box to the ducks!
5 – Chocolate
No need to rub your eyes again, this really is a box of chocolates, with the box being made from chocolate its self! They are a little expensive, but the quality of both design and ingredients speaks for its self.
4 – Kit Kats
This Kit Kat treasure box is so simple to make even I made one! So why not give it a go as it really is good fun to make as well. My Advice? Give it time to set once you make the box, otherwise it tends to fall apart when you put the sweets inside.
3 – Cake
Horror film fans will instantly know that this is the Lemarchand’s Box from the HellRaiser films. And all skillfully made with cake. Not much chance of us making this anytime soon!

You are going to hate me for this, but this was a one-off pizza box made for an April Fools day prank. Made by expert Crust Technicians at Domino’s it might well be a one-off, but it is also the world’s first edible pizza box regardless.
