Top 10 Best Images of Animals With a Mouthful

Yes, it is childish but I like hanging out with my friends. We talk rubbish, play a video game and are always challenging each other to do more and more stupid things. And it was one of those stupid things that this post is inspired from. You see a friend (names removed to protect the stupid) challenged another friend to see how many custard cream biscuits he could fit in his mouth! While at the time I thought 6 of them was an impressive feat it seems the animal kingdom can do much better…

  1. Love the pics, especially the Boxer dog. I have three Boxers. One of my Boxers is white. She is also deaf and became that way shortly after she was born. Some more info on white dogs and deafness: I hope you don’t mind the long comment…

The cause of the deafness in Boxers (and other dogs such as Dalmations, Great Danes, Australian Shepherds, etc) is associated with the white color and the absence of pigment cells in the inner ear resulting in a loss of sensory hair cells at about 6 – 8 weeks of age. The shortage/absence of pigment cells is also the cause of the white coat and unpigmented third eyelids (haw). Generally speaking, the more pigment in the coat the lower will be the risk of deafness, but all predominantly white dogs are at risk of being deaf. .

Please note that not all white dogs are white because of a lack of pigment cells. Some like West Highlands and Poodles just have extremely diluted pigmentation; they have a full complement of pigment cells, so are not at risk of being deaf.

Butter is the 2nd deaf white boxer that we’ve had in our family. She knows about 30 hand signs and if we want her attention, we stomp on the floor and she can feel the vibration. She is also smart enough to know that if she doesn’t want to do something we are telling her to do, she will look away. I know she is saying…”haha, i can;’t see you so I don’t have to do it”…LOL

  2. I had never heard of a Pika (apart from a pikachu) so it seems we are learning together. And the thing with giraffes is that they are never as tall as I think they will be., the one in the zoo anyway.

  3. the Jawfish is a little odd, but nature can be weird sometimes. But it seems it is the dog for the win. It is good to know you enjoyed it as always Sonel thank you.

  4. My favourite is definitely the Boxer, we used to have one and they are just so cute and adorable and utterly stupid. But loads of fun. 🙂

  5. Whahahahah! Loved this post Russell! Would have loved to see what it looks like to have lots of custard cream biscuits in your mouth! hahahahah

That poor jawfish male. Can you imagine swimming around all the time with a mouthful of babies in your mouth. No thank you! 😀

The boxer is just the cutest! Looks like he has tennis balls for teeth! 😆
Thanks for sharing! Much appreciated. 😀 *hugs*

  6. This is a very original and witty site. You must spend a lot of time getting all these great photos. I love animals doing silly things. Ironically, I just posted my top 10 favorite real-life ER diagnoses at the hospital where I work.

  7. I love the boxer, not only with the mouth full of balls but the eyes really get to me. I am not sure if it is a baleful look or more of embarrassment or disbelief he has come to this. I have never heard of a Pika before – he looks adorable with flowers in his mouth. I am always delighted with giraffes, especially because I tend to have many giraffe moments. Cool idea!

  8. So Cute!! I love the orangutan with the apples (I don’t blame him. If I found a tree like that and I was him, I’d grab all I could too.)

  9. This is great. I like the orangutang. If he could talk, he’d be saying “Mine, mine, all mine”. I guess if we didn’t have opposable thumbs, we’d be carrying a lot more in mouths. Of course then what would we text with 🙂

  10. I love them all, of course. But you got me laughing at your intro talking about your friends and their cream biscuits! The orangutan looks like he’s going to choke himself on those apples; and that boxer just makes me laugh.

  11. For sure!! BTW – I posted a new pic of Mr. Fangs….not so fangy, just pretty! Oops…I mean Handsome!

  12. Got to love them all. So how many custard cream biscuits were there? Sometimes we have to remain child like to deal with the real world. Ivan and lastly great post as always.

Which one did you like?
