Today’s blog post comes about because while I and the family were out having a lazy summer drive about, I saw something that I have never seen before. (well not in the UK anyway) I saw a mailbox! It was nothing amazing, in fact, it was just a plain white postal box and nothing more, but in the UK we get our post put through the letterbox. So in honour of the one person in Wales, UK with a US Mailbox I bring you…
10 – The perfect Male Model
This rather odd-looking mannequin mailbox is sure to scare the postman and anyone that would be driving past the house. So if you are a model this might well be the one for you.
9 – Don’t shoot the messenger!
We all hate bills coming into our mailboxes but this is just going too far! But it has to be said that this oversized gun mailbox is also rather creative and is sure to make the mail mad smile as he stares down the barrel of it each and every morning.

Perfect for receiving all those holiday image prints back is this cool mailbox shaped like a camera. It would also be the perfect box for any budding photographer.

With the invention of E-Mail, there has hardly been a need for much real post anymore (apart from adverts and bills) so it makes me smile see a mac that was used to read all sort of E-Mail now being used as a Snail Mailbox. Well, it amused me anyway.

Do you like doing DIY? Well, why not show off your DIY skills and make something like this rather impressive hammer-shaped mailbox! I wish I had even half the skill needed to make this, but sadly I don’t. But I do think it is cool anyway.

What I like about this one, is the fuselage has the perfect shape to be a mailbox, so all you have to do is create the plane shape, a flap in front and it is job done! This would be perfect for any pilot or plane enthusiast.

2 – Mail Filter on!
If there is one thing that gets my back up, it is the amount of real-life junk mail I get. From readers digest to “scratch here for a million pounds!” they are all pointless. The only reason that this wouldn’t work is that I would want all the bills put in the spam box.

This made me smile the moment I saw it. If you live in Radiator Springs or just a big fan of the films this could well be the World’s best mailbox. If I was a postman and I saw this, it would certainly brighten up my day. If only I had the creative skills to make one myself.
