Ten of the Worlds Most Amazing Creative and Unusual Caravans

Growing up in a family that didn’t have much money means that when it came to holiday time there was only one way of thinking…Caravans! From small 2 berths right up to 8 berth static ones in some never-heard-before place of the UK. They were all full of great times and when you only get one holiday every few years it was very much appreciated. But I have been thinking that I know what to try to rekindle those days and take my own family on a nice caravan holiday.  And if we are very lucky, we will get to go in one of these…

10 – Double Decka – Caravana!

This is what looks like a double-decker bus that has been converted into a 2 story caravan.  I would imagine it is nothing more than a ladder leading to the second floor but it still kind of looks cool even if it is a little dirty looking as well.

9 – If designers did caravan holidays…

Want a caravan that screams designer quality? Then you need to have a chat with “Mehrzeller” because they describe this as a “multicellular caravan” but I just call it awesome. Imagine the faces of people as you roll into the campsite in this!

8 – Standing room only

When Chris Haddon started doing research for his book “My Cool Caravan” little did he know that what he was going to see because he saw some of the Worlds coolest vintage caravans including this tiny 1 berth, it makes me wonder what he was pulling with!

7 – Not so juicy on the inside.

Seen on a campsite in Germany this rather amazing Watermelon painted caravan stands out like a sore thumb and was the talking point of most people staying at the site. Oddly it was never seen again leaving many people to say that it was just an advertising company that had done it rather than a fan of watermelons.

6 – Why do those flowers smell like a caravan?!?

Not so good for towing it around, but if you have a static caravan in the garden why not to something rather amazing with it and turn it into a sort of stone-built guest house! I couldn’t help but smile the moment I saw this image and would love to stay in it.

Caravan, Boat, Caraboat

5 – Caravans in disguise.

What better holiday than to pull up to a lakeside, caravan in tow and then detach it and go boating in it! Well, I give you the “Sealander” and forever it will be hailed as awesome!

4 – “Where is it?!? I know I parked the caravan somewhere around here?!?”

What better paint job to give your caravan than one that will help it blend into its surroundings, yet again I think this is one that is best suited to a caravan that is static in a garden and used as a guest bedroom rather than one you move around.

3 – “Am I driving backwards or forwards?!?”

When you own a VW camper van you can be proud of your vehicle, so why not attach a caravan that is in fact just a recycled VW campervan! Now it has to be said that this is cool, and I would even go as far as to say that it looks beautiful.

2 – The World’s Scariest Caravan?!?

Seen in a campsite in Tennessee, USA  is this rather scary looking vintage metal sheeted caravan. With a custom paint job given to it, the front really does look like it is staring right through you! But it has to be said that it looks nothing short of stunning.

1 – Journey to the Center of the Caravan

Yes, what you are looking at really is nothing more than a caravan that is just a 1:1 million facsimile of the earth! But when you are the “Rainbow Sheikh” you are one of the richest people on earth so why not own a caravan that is just that! Ridiculous for sure, but also rather amazing in a “waste of money” kind of way. I wonder if it has lava furniture?!?
