Top 10 Amazing Homemade Ice Lollies

Dare I say it? But I think the summer is here! Yes, it is time for going to the beach, mowing the lawns and making many new happy memories for years to come. While I do love a day out at the beach it can get pretty expensive. £2 for 99 cones?!? Too rich for my blood. So while they would most probably not make it to the beach without melting, I have decided to make my own lolly’s!  But which ones should I make…

Not only thick chunks shaped, but also a summer tasting treat that is sure to make people smile as the lick it to death. Cherry always makes for a great lolly anyway, but when presented in a sort of chocolate chunks shapes it just seems all the better.

  5. I’m sure it does. Cucumber water is quite refreshing on hot days, but it does tend to overwhelm other flavors.

  6. These are cool heh heh. Seriously, though, it’s starting to warm up again here (yes again, the weather in Portland is weird), and I suspect I’ll be making more than one of these. Prolly leave the cucumber out of my lemon pops, though.

  7. It was some American bloke, he said on my post (128) that it was either “brilliant fiction or demented humour.” Two other American girls who are alot older than me him off. They always look after me. It was awful because he commented and I had to go down for dinner and couldn’t easily hide being upset but obviously also couldn’t tell my brothers I have a blog and someone upset me on it. Anyway, I wasn’t rude because I knew better. Apparently he didn’t.

Yes sir indeed some people are weird!

  8. Cucumber ice lollies? Are you out of your mind? Yes, i know the answer, it’s what’s called a rhetorical question. But CUCUMBER! It’s the fruit of the devil. It tastes of bugger all burt insidiously manages to make everything else taste of cucumber

  9. The Kahlua and the rainbow are my favorites. Interesting to know there is a limitless variety of ice pops to be made. I usually love creamcyle flavor the best. I wonder if I could make a Bailey’s Creamcycle Irish Cream one?

  10. They all look delicious – sometimes I am in the mood for something cold and light, other times cold and substantial. You have them in all categories. When I lived in Australia there wasn’t a whole lot to do, so my husband and I would take a walk and then go to the shop for lolls. He called them weasels (I have no idea why) and after 44 years we still call them that.

  11. Hmmmm, which to make first? The Kahlua Banana Popsicles or the Raspberry Cheesecake Popsicles? I think I’m leaning towards the cheesecake.

Cooper wants the recipe for the tuna and salmon Popsicles =^.^=

  12. Fighting hard against food. I like my brothers at the moment. They get me. Mum and Dad don’t. Did you see the man who attacked my blog? That’s partially why I had disappeared as well. I LOVE the bunkbeds post and need to look at that and loads of others I’ve missed.

  13. Yes sir well I disappeared because my parents are driving me right up the high ceilings. Trouble? No I’ve been quite good for me 😀 I didn’t think you’d noticed I was avoiding my blog…

  14. Yes, it does – still trying to figure out if you could freeze a solid pop of Kahlua and not have to mess with the banana – –

  15. Wow, you found some amazing photos and recepies. I will try to make some of them in the weekend, they look more than just delicious. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend.

  16. Oh my God he’s my absolute favourite. I’ve got all the Halloweens. My favourites are 1 and 2. H20 was ok but well overdue. 3 didn’t make any sense to me.

  17. Mine would be the first one because as a concept for it’s time it was very scary. 3 is my second best. I grew up watching all the slasher films love them!

  18. Well I suggest you make one a day all look incredible. Cucumber sounds very refreshing, and so do the rest. Thanks for a great post to start the weekend. Ivan
