This post is not to be confused with “Top 10 Animals Wearing Santa Hats” these are the world’s strangest and most unusual animals wearing Santa hats because even they like to celebrate Christmas now and again. So with a warning of Lizards, snakes and spiders to name but just a few on the way, I bring you…
10 – Croc
I don’t know if the person who put this on him was brave, stupid or an incredibly well-trained animal handler. But even with some festive cheer on his head, this guy looks like he would happily eat Santa and they run after the Reindeer.
9 – Turtle
I am sure that there are some turtles out there that are older than the legend of Santa himself! So it seems kind of fitting to give this turtle the beard as well as the hat. But sadly it doesn’t seem to have cheered him up at all.
8 – Iguana
Iguanas are often rather large creatures so I would imagine it is not so hard to find a Santa suit and hat to fit them. Strangely he seems to be rather happy about wearing it as well.
7 – Chameleon
I suppose the cool think about being a Chameleon is you can turn yourself into a walking Christmas tree as this one has! I have you could make yourself look like you are wearing a Santa suit!

6 – Frog
It is hard to tell if a frog is happy to sad due to their emotionless face. But I think this one is happy and wants to keep all the presents for himself and all his little tadpoles.
5 – Tortoise
This Tortoise seems rather happy in his Santa hat, in fact, he is modelling it for people who want to buy it. Or maybe he hates it but was just too slow in getting away when the call to action came about.
4 – Snake
I am sure there are some fun-loving snakes out there who would love to wear a Christmas hat. But thanks to years of bad publicity they get treated like bah humbugs. But this one is lucky and has a nice owner.
3 – Gecko
This little Crested gecko has not only got the Santa hat on, but he has the full suit and a sleigh as well! In fact, he is a bag of gifts and presents away from doing the job himself come Christmas day. Imagine him coming down the chimney!

2 – Alligator
Unlike his friend in image 10 this guy has gone for the whole Santa suit! Seriously, how is crazy enough to put one of these on him? Or maybe they used some of that Santa magic to do it.
1 – Tarantula
I think if you told me that was a full-size Santa hat I just might pass out. It really does go to show that some creatures just can look cute and happy at all even when wearing a happy coloured Santa hat.
