  3. Thank you very much. I brought them from Denmark. They are now 10 years old. Found them, when they were only few days old, the mother died, so have been their catmommy for many years.

  4. Wonderful photos, thank you. I have had many cats in my life, right now only 2, as you can see in photos in my About, if you like. Very nice blog, you have here. Worth following, I think. Have a great day.

  5. So cute. I love cats! I have one and strangely she has never tried to get on my bookshelves. Thank goodness as I think they would fall down! I love that white bookshelf with the cubby holes just for the cat. Might see if my carpenter son will make those for me one day.

  6. Aw, I thought Caturday would never get here! Love these. #3 reminds me of my Nicky. They look a lot alike and they both have that “What!” Look on their face! Innocent my eye.

  7. I love #6 – wonder how they managed to get them to all stay in place long enough to take the photo. I have a picture of my cat Muffet in the linen closet, in between sheet stacks. A little calico head among the linens. It always amazes me how cats love to be in very small, tight spaces – you couldn’t force them to do it no matter how you try.

  8. You’ve got a delightful imagination, and such cooperative subjects for your photographs! What better combination than cats and books, both tresures to hold and explore.

  9. My favorite is the five cats on the shelf. Either they’re a modified Greek chorus or they’re ready to judge your book tastes.

  10. When I first bought my cat home, he constantly tried to get up into the bookshelves that were not really accessible. However, he did it once and managed to knock a book down, in the middle of the night of course! I did get a photo of him peeking out from behind the DVD’d on that shelf once he had given up on the books.
