  2. You have once again shown me something I have never seen. either they didn’t have here in the States or I was more sheltered than I realized. I agree the watermelon is great for summer, some frosting, who doesn’t love chocolate chips and watermelon Jello. Wonder if it would work with watermelon itself.

  3. Noooo. I love your sweet food posts. It’s a great way to get a dessert fix sans calories. I guess healthy food posts will be okay for a while but I think you should slip in the occasional decadent cake post every now and then.

  4. Thank you so much. This is the last of unhealthy food posts for a while as I want to try and post something we can all try and is healthy. But it everyone hates it, the cakes will be back in a few weeks. *LOL*

  5. Where have I been? I’ve never seen push up cakes before, they’re awesome. My kids would love them! Now… where to get the plastic thingy…?

  6. My daughter made push pops with vanilla wafers, bananas, banana pudding, and whipped cream. They’re a lot of fun to make and good to eat. Just don’t put too much pressure behind the push or as in my husbands case, it’ll all end up on the floor!

  7. Wow! How creative! I had no idea this trend existed. The Coca Cola one looks/sounds the most intriguing to me. Of course, one can never go wrong with the classic Strawberry Shortcake! Thanks for sharing, Russell!

  8. I have never had a cake push up, never even knew they existed and I have a food blog! Of course I don’t do sweets so maybe that’s why. I love the Irish cream or the watermelon, or the oreo, or the…..well you get the picture. ha! Thanks Russell. 🙂

  9. You did warn me. Breakfast eaten and now I’m looking at cakes, eek. These are amazing. I do fancy the Irish cream ones, although I just like the freshness of the mint green and chocolate. There’s something about mint that gets me every time. The rainbows and Halloween ones are pretty cool. Anything with colour suits me fine. 🙂

  10. These are definitely fun! I must confess I never had a cake push up pop thingy – I had ice cream push up pops from the ice cream truck when I grew up – I like cake better.

  11. I love the rainbow cakes. They would be such a great addition to any gay rights celebrations! The watermelon ones look tasty, but I think I would omit the chocolate chips!
